wow hear that crowd? sounds like the entire mwo communitiy made it, gotta be at least 15 people there!

hahahah 'go further with role warfare' how do you go further into something that isnt there? @_@

not gonna lie if all you have to do is kill an atlas that doesnt twist, im not sure how well thats going to work unless it has been intensely buffed..

I cannot help thinking both escort and the new version of assault might favor LRMs a little.
Especially if you are trying to stop the Atlas - all you really need is a sneaky spotter and a couple of LRM boats... Same in defense against assault - sit behind the walls with a spotter and a couple LRM launchers to rough them up while they take down the walls.

A Sergeant in motion outranks a Lieutenant who doesn't know what's going on.

Personally I'd say that twin gauss mechs would quite happily dominate it if it is following a set path, take an hour or so of practice on the timers to instaheadsnipe the atlas at x minute n seconds by shooting at y spot :p

and given the modes are random it would infer that you were bringing lrms with the idle hope of getting that mode - not to mention it's an atlas so could theoretically absorb several hundred damage from lrms. That is a looot of fire time, or a very lrm stacked team.. and if their scout finds yourteam before your scout finds/narcs the atlas will your lrm team beat their nonlrm team if they push in on you?

The walls look far too easily destroyed to make the bases particularly strategic i think... what is the benefit of not just roflstomping the base, beyond a few laser towers? if someone huddles inside theyre sniperfood if they push out then what was the point in the first place?
